Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot attacked Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and said it should be looked into as to why there was resentment among MLAs over the name of a new chief minister in the state. The recent death of a Dalit student (9) after being beaten by a school teacher in Jalore, Rajasthan, once again sparked turmoil between state CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot and other leaders. Amid the situation, 12 legislators and MLA resigned from the post, claiming disappointment over the rising number of crimes against Dalit students.
