Gorkha Community Demands For Indigenous Group Recognition In Assam
To be recognised as an indigenous group, the Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh (BGP) of Assam has released a whitepaper on November 28. Spokesperson Nanda Kirati Dewan has stated that their community was "undermined and left out" from Assam Accord Clause 6.
