Assam CM Participates In Event, Marks Closure Of Mission Basundhara
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took part in an event on May 8 to mark closure of the first phase Mission Basundhara and expressed gratitude to everybody. He said within the next few months they will try to find out the conclusion of the unresolved cases. CM also launched the project foe detailed survey of total 1,074 numbers of non-cadastral villages spread over various districts of the state.

BJP Names Himanta Biswa Sarma As Assam Chief Minister
The 'master strategist' for BJP in the recently-concluded Assam Assembly elections, Himanta Biswa Sarma , has been named as the new Chief Minister of Assam by the party on May 9. The announcement was made after a series of high-level meetings of the BJP leaders on May 8. Notably, the BJP-led NDA had registered a majority in the state by securing 75 seats in the elections.
