Bihar Govt Allows To Recruit Transgenders In State's Police Force
The Bihar government, in a January 14 notification, announced that transgenders will be allowed to serve in the state's police force up to the level of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI). Reserving the posts for transgenders, the resolution authorizes the DIG rank level officers to recruit them.
