Indian Athlete Dipika & Harinder Secures Gold At Asian Games 2023,

India has clinched another Gold medal in the Asian Games 2023 in the squash event. The medal tally for the country has rised to 20 Gold Medals in Asian Games after the victory. Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Sandhu secured the Gold Medal in the mixed doubles sqaush event after beating the Malaysian team in the finals. The Asian Games 2023 is being conducted in China's Hangzhou.

Swapna Barman Wants Her Medal Back From 'Transgender' Athlete

Indian heptathlete Swapna Barman has raised concerns alleging that she lost her medal to Nandini Agasara, who she thinks is a transgender woman. in the Asian Games 2023 and is ineligible to compete. Barman took to her official handle on X and said, ". I want my medal back as it is against the rules of our Athletics. Help me and support me please." She said she deserved it.

India's medal tally rises after athletes representing the nation won gold and silver medals in shooting, at the Asian Games 2023. The women’s 25m pistol shooting team claimed India’s fourth gold medal of the Hangzhou 2023 Asian Games on September 27, morning, minutes after the women’s rifle team had claimed a silver in the women’s 50m rifle 3 position event. With this, India won a total of 14 medals.

Meet Inshah Bashir, J&K's 1st Wheelchair Basketball Player

Inshah Bashir, a native of Jammu & Kashmir is firs wheel-chair basketball player from the Union Terrortiry. 27-year-old Bashir started first wheelchair women's basketball team in 2017. She represented India in the US Sports Programme in 2019 and given TED talk, inspiring differently abled people, interested in sports. Notably, Bashir is on wheelchair since she was 15-year-old, due to a spinal injury in an accident.
