Football superstar and Barcelona captain Lionel Messi received first his red card in his club career of 753 games, in match against Athletic Club on January 17. Sustaining a 2-3 defeat in the finals of Spanish Super Club, Messi was showed the red card for hitting Asier Villalibre. Messi's fate for his actions now will be decided after Spanish FA's review as a possible four-match ban lingers on him.
