Attack On Doctors

Supreme Court will hear a plea seeking directions to authorities to ensure adequate protection is given to the doctors, will be heard on September 5. This has come after witnessing an increase in number of assaults on doctors. The plea also seeks directions to the centre and states to maintain a “distress fund”, which could be used to grant relief funds to the kin, in case a healthcare worker dies.
