A 30-year-old man was killed by two men in north Delhi’s Sadar Bazar area in the wee hours on Tuesday, a Delhi Police official said. The deceased, identified as Samir, a resident of Sultanpuri, was working as a field boy for an online company. On Tuesday around 1:17 a.m., the police received information that a person was lying injured on the road. A case is registered for further investigation.

After the recent attack on doctor, the Kerala government announced more measures to assuage their concerns, including setting up of a panel to address the fraternity's long-pending demands. Notably, Dr Vandana Das, a native of Kaduthuruthy area of Kottayam district and the only child of her parents, was stabbed several times. She later succumbed to her injuries. Following the attack, protests erupted in various hospitals across the state.

In Jammu & Kashmir, fresh attacks on Kashmiri Pandits were reportedly attacked. On August 15, the attack comes amid an outcry over Kashmiri Pandits being targeted. Sunil Kumar Bhat and Pintoo Kumar Bhat, the victims, were brothers from the village of Chotigam, who came under attack in an apple orchard in the Shopian neighbourhood of Chotipora. Sunil allegedly passed away after being shot, whereas Pintoo is undergoing treatment.

In Uttar Pradesh's Kahoba village,Gonda seven people, including four women, were arrested for allegedly attacking police officials. On July 10, the police confirmed that a police personnel team, including the police outpost in-charge Dharmendra Kumar, went to Kahoba village to resolve a land dispute and were attacked. Former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe fell unconscious after being attacked by unidentified men in Western Japan's Nara City. As per local media reports, gunshots were heard and Abe was found unconscious on July 8. The police arrested the attacker, who targeted the former PM from behind when Abe was giving a stump speech on the streets of the city. Further details behind the attack are awaited.
