Dalai Lama's Security Dog Duka Sold For This Amount In Auction
Tibetian spiritual leader Dalai Lama's loyal dog was sold at $20 dollar. On February 11, the Labrador breed dog named Duka was with Dalai Lama for over a decade and ensured his security, finally retired from his duty and was sold after an auction, said the Himachal Pradesh Police. Now nine-months-old Tommy, purchased for Rs 3 lakhs, trained by the Punjab Police is the new security dog of Dalai Lama.

Abandoned Painting Covered In Bird Poop Sold At $3 Millions At Auction
A painting covered with bird poop was auctioned worth $3 millions. Bought for $600, the painting was rare work of rare Anthony van Dyck, which belonged to 17th century, was finally sold recently. This painting by Belgian portraitist and painter Dyck was sold for $3.1 million at an auction by Sotheby's, confirmed CNN report. It is to be noted, the Anthony van Dyck painting was abandoned, which was rediscovered recently.

As per sources, the diamond merchant, who has been accused in money scam filed by the Punjab National Bank (PNB) is currently being investigated by the CBI and the ED. Bodies Of 2 Children Found In Suitcase Sold At Auction: New Zealand
The remains of two children aged between five and ten years have been found in a suitcase bought at an online auction in New Zealand’s Auckland. A painting by Maud Lewis, a Canadian artist, was auctioned for more than ₹2 crores. The painting of a black truck was given to its owner in return for a grilled cheese sandwich. Irene Demas, a chef, bought the painting in 1973. It was given to them by London artist John Kinnear five decades ago.

Assam Govt Takes Over Nagaon & Chachar Paper Mills With Highest Bid
The AIDC, on behalf of the Assam Government took over the assets of Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited (HPCL) Nagaon and Chachar Paper Mill, on March 28. During the auction, the AIDC was the highest bidder with Rs 700 crores, including all outstanding dues of the two mills and signed paper in presence of officials. Notably, the Hemant Biswa Government is aiming to intervene in paper mills, on humanitarian ground.
