Deposed Myanmar Leader Aung Suu Kyi's Jail Term Extended By 6 Years

Myanmar's deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi's jail sentence has been extended by six more years, on August 15. A special court in the capital city of Naypyidaw has found her guilty in four corruption charges. With this, the jail term of the 77-year-old Nobel peace prize laureate comes to 17 years.
