Sanathan Dharma Is For Welfare Of Country, Says CM Yogi
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath made his remark over Sanathan Dharma, and said, "It has always worked for the welfare of the society." The comments were made amid the celebration of Dussehra, also known as Vijay Dashmi, the symbol of win of truth over evil. Celebrated widely in India, Vijay Dashmi is also marking, the return of Ramji to Ayodhya. "Sanathan is for the welfare of India," says Yogi CM.

UP: Accused In Killing Female Constable In Saryu Express Is Killed In Encounter
Naseem, who was the prime accused in the case in which a UP Police woman constable was attacked in Saryu Express in Ayodhya was killed in an encounter with UP STF late on September 21. DG law and order, Prashant Kumar confirmed and said, in the encounter, an SO and 2 constables were injured and Naseem was killed. Meanwhile, the female constable was found bleeding under a train seat.

Nepal Stones Reach Ayodhya, Will Be Used For Lord Ram's Idol
Stones from Nepal will be used for the idol of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. On February 2, special holy two Shaligram stones from Nepal were welcomed by priests at the Ayodhya Temple, in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Found only on the riverbanks of Kali Gandaki River that flows through Myagdi and Mustang districts, the Shaligrams reached Ayodhya on heavy-duty trucks from Nepal's Janakpur, the birthplace of Sita.

Ayodhya Deepotsav Preparations In Full Swing In Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya
Preparation to celebrate Deepotsav, on the occasion of Deepawali is in full swing in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Celebrated on October 23, the Ayodhya Temple trust is aiming to light 12 lakh lamps, on the occasion sixth Deepotsav in Ram Ki Paidi Ghats. The Uttar Pradesh Government is targeting to make a Guinness World Record, and lit diyas, bringing earthen ports from Lucknow, Gonda and Ayodhya.

Reportedly, the boy was having an affair with the victim, and was scared to break it off due to the fear of getting exposed. According to an official, the boy murdered her because she used to threaten him by making insulting revelations about him. Further details on the matter is awaited.

Blood-Soaked Body With Throat Slit Discovered At Temple In Ayodhya; Suspect Detained
On the grounds of a Hanuman temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, a man's body was discovered in a pool of blood on July 3. Pankaj Shukla, the 30-year-old victim, had gone to the temple to sleep post-dinner. In a moment of fury, the accused, Pankaj's cousin Gullu Mishra, murdered the man with a sharp-edged object. Police have retrieved the axe used in the murder and apprehended the accused.

Gujarat Court Sentences Accused To Life Imprisonment For 2002 Godhra Train Burning
The defendant in the case of Godhra train atrocity, which had caused the worst riots in Gujarat history, was sentenced to life imprisonment on July 2 by a court in Godhra, Gujarat's Panchmahal district. Rafik Bhatuk, the accused, was apprehended in February 2021. On February 27, 2002, he was suspected of being part in the burning down of a train carrying "karsevaks" returning from Ayodhya, murdering 59 of them.

Pregnant School Teacher Stabbed To Death In UP's Ayodhya
Supriya Verma (31), a pregnant school teacher, was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, on June 1. Reportedly, the incident occurred when her husband and her mother had gone to bank, leaving her alone in the house. Upon their return, Supriya was found soaked in blood. Reportedly, the doctors declared her "brought dead". A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
