Health Summit will be arranged from May 5 to 7 at the Statue of Unity in Gujrat's Kevadia, reported Union Government on May 1. Chaired by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the summit will discuss India's fight against COVID-19 and the "Heal by India-Heal in India" campaign. The three-day summit will be attended by health ministers of states and union territories.

To increase international trade of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy) products, the Union government is standardising their quality. The Union government on December 17 recognized ‘yogasana’ as a competitive sport. Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the funds will be provided to the National Yogasana Sport Federation of India, founded earlier in November 2019.
