Bajrang Punia Says This About Wrestlers Protest After Meeting Amit Shah

About the confidential meeting between Wrestlers and Union Minister Amit Shah, Bajrang Punia said the grapplers have no ‘setting’ with Union home minister Amit Shah and the protests will continue. He added,"He and the fellow wrestlers were told by the government not to reveal to anyone about their meeting with Shah, but they themselves leaked it to the media. Furthermore, Punia also denied the reports of withdrawal from protest.

Bajrang Punia Joins PM Modi's 'Meet The Champions' Initiative, To Visit Panipat School

Wrestler and Bronze medalist at Tokyo Olympics, Bajrang Punia, will visit Aarohi Modern school in Panipat, Haryana, on December 23. He will join PM Modi's "Meet the Champions" campaign, spreading awareness over balanced diet, sports and fitness. "I am extremely happy that I am going to take 'meet the champions' ahead," tweeted Punia. The initiative under 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' is started with 'Gold Medalist' Neeraj Chopra in Gujarat.

Tokyo Olympics: Wrestler Bajrang Punia Wins Historic Bronze For India

Indian Wrestler Bajrang Punia defeated Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan 8:0 to clinch the bronze medal for India and equal India's best Olympic performance to the 2012 London Olympics. After dominating the entire game against reigning World silver medalist Niyazbekov, Punia impressed with a stunning 8-0 win. The former Asian Games gold medalist lost his semi-final on August 7. This is the fourth bronze for India.

Wrestler Bajrang Punia Faces Knee Injury In Russia's Local tournament

While competing in a local tournament in Russia with A Kudyev, wrestler Bajrang Punia sustained a right knee injury. Emphasizing the suffering of Punia, his Georgian coach Shako Bentinidis said, "He is fine and normal. Mission Olympic Cell Agrees To Fund For Bajrang Punia's Training at US

Indian Wrestler Bajrang Punia received an approval for one-month training camp at the Michigan's Cliff Keen Wrestling Club, U.S. Acccording to a press release, the decision came after a meeting conducted by the Mission Olympic Cellon on November 26. Reportedly, the camp is expected to cost around Rs.14 lakhs and is scheduled from December 4. The wrestler will travel to US with his coach Emzarios Bentinidis and physiologist Dhananjay.
