In Pakistan's Balochistan, two tourists including a government official were kidnapped from the famous tourist spot of Ziarat, on July 13. Reportedly, the he tourists were from Karachi, and visited the town along with their family members. According to The Express Tribune, the kidnappers who were armed men, left their family members. Pakistani security forces killed six terrorists during an operation conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department in the Balochistan province. Earthquake struck southern Pakistan early in the morning of October 7 while people were sleeping. It killed nearly 20 people, and more than 200 were wounded.
