Football Association Bans Barnsley's Diaby For 2 Years Over Doping

The Football Association on October 7 banned the Barnsley defender Bambo Diaby for two years for breaking anti-doping rules. Reportedly, traces of Higenamine, a prohibited substance, was found in the urine sample of Daiby after Barnsley's match against Blackburn on November 23, 2019. The player admitted the charge; however, he did not mention the source of the substance. "I am devastated with the news that I have received," said Diaby.
