Clash Turns Violently Physical Between BJP & TRS In Telangana
A clash violently turned physical between Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on August 14. The clash broke out during BJP's Padyatra in Jangaon, with the presence of Bandi Sanjay, chief of BJP's Telangana state unit. Reportedly, some workers from both parties sustained injuries. Following the incident, BJP alleged that TRS workers started pelting stones and sticks at them.

BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Writes To Om Birla, Amit Shah Seeks Intervention
Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar wrote to Om Birla, Union Minister Amit Shah and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan over his 14-day remand, on January 4. Over a series of letters to dignitaries, Kumar demanded justice, seeking centre's intervention in his arrest. Sanjay Kumar, along with 150 BJP cadres was detained for protesting without permission against GO 317. The Karimnagar Court announced a 14-day judicial custody.

No Party Has Courage; Only BJP Can Face TRS: Telangana BJP Chief
Telangana state Bharatiya Janata Party chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on December 11 said if any party has the guts to face Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), it is only BJP. ''A large number of youths...have joined BJP from Kalwakurthy constituency. The BJP is the only party breaking the TRS barrier," added Kumar. He further put an allegation on CM K Chandrasekhar Rao that he wanted to buy votes with money.
