Terrorists In Jammu & Kashmir's Bandipora Shoot Bihar Migrant Laborer

Terrorists opened fire on and injured one migrant laborer, Mohd Amrez, r/o Madhepura, Besarh, Bihar, in Soadnara Sumbal, Bandipora, during the intervening night. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he later passed away, according to Kashmir Zone Police on August 11. Mohd Amrez, who had been sent to a hospital for treatment, passed away from his injuries in Bandipora.

Security Forces Gun Down 1 Terrorist In J&K's Bandipora

In the Salinder forest area of Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district, one terrorist was killed in an encounter that broke out on, May 11. Furthermore, three magazines and one AK rifle was recovered. Reportedly, the killed terrorist belonged to a newly infiltrated group. The police stated that a search is in progress for two more terrorists. Further details on the matter is awaited.

1 Newly Joined LeT Terrorist Arrested In J&K's Bandipora

In J&K's Bandipora, a person belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit, was arrested, on April 18. The arrest was made in a joint cordon and search operation involving three Battalion CRPF officials and 14 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), reported, ANI. The accused was identified as Amir Tariq Khan, whose photograph went viral on social media on April 13, after he joined The Resistance Font (TRF).

2 Policemen Die In Firing Of Militants In J&K's Bandipora District

In Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district, two policemen died after militants fired on them, said officials on December 10. The firing took place at the Gulshan Chowk in the same evening. Reportedly, the injured policemen were rushed to a hospital but they succumbed to their injuries. The area has been cordoned off and a searches operation has also been launched, added the official.

Indian Security Force Kills Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar Who Killed Civilians In J&K

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have killed a terrorist, who was accused of killing civilians at Shahgund, in the Bondipora district, police said on October 11. Kashmir Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar said the terrorist, Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, was associated with terror outfit LeT (TRF). Earlier, civilians in Shahugnd and two government teachers in Srinagar and Chand were killed on October 5 and 7, respectively.

Security Forces Kill Pakistani Terrorist Babar Ali In J&K

In an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora at Chandaji, a Pakistani terrorist Babar Ali was killed by security forces, said police on August 3. Reportedly, terrorist Ali belongs to Pakistan's Punjab province. Besides, while sharing the news, DGP Dilbagh Singh said, “On 23/24 July, an operation was carried out at Shokbaba forest area in which three terrorists were killed, including one Pakistani terrorist.”
