Using Bluetooth Devices While Driving Is Restricted: Bangalore Traffic Police
According to the traffic police of Bangalore, using headphones, earphones or other bluetooth devices for communication while driving will attract fine. The department stated that first-time violators will be fined Rs 500 and second-time violators Rs 1,000. Bangalore Police Introduces Instant Helpline To Address Online Frauds
In order to curb online frauds, Bangalore police have initiated an instant addressal helpline 'Cybercrime Incident Report system'. Under this initiative, victims of an online fraud can lodge complaints over a phone call. CCB Conducts Searches at SDPI Offices in Connection to Bangalore Violence
The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bangalore Police department carried out search operations at three offices of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI). The offices located at DJ Halli, KG Halli, and Halsurgate were searched, owing to their connection with the violence that broke out on August 11. So far, at least 415 people have been arrested in relation to the case.
