No E-Auction Of Sunny Deol's Juhu House, Orders Withdrawn

After announcing the e-auction of Sunny Deol's Juhu Bungalow, the Bank of Baroda issued an official statement announcing the withdrawal of the auction orders. "Corrigendum to e-auction notice with regards to sale auction notice in respect of Mr Ajay Singh Deol alias Mr Sunny Deol stands withdrawn due to technical reasons," read the statement. Notably, the actor-turned-politician was defaulting on Rs 55 crore, payment since December.

Bank Of Baroda Increased Fixed Deposit Interest Rates

The interest rates on Bank of Baroda's fixed deposits (FDs) up to Rs 2 crore have increased. After the adjustment, the general public's FD interest rate may increase to 7.25 percent. Seniors who deposit money with the Bank of Baroda might earn up to 7.75 percent on their fixed deposits. The new rates are coming into effect today, May 12, 2023, confirmed sources.

'Tamasha', 'Nautanki' Firms-Turned-NPAs Defraud 3 Indian Banks Of Rs 150 Crore

Few Indian firms that become non-performing assets defraud three Indian banks of Rs 150 crore. IDBI Bank Ltd lost Rs 92.69 crore, Bank of Baroda lost Rs 49.23 crore, and HDFC Bank Rs 6.27 crore. Loans were given to Great Indian Nautanki Company Pvt. Ltd. Great Indian Tamasha Company Pvt. Ltd. is mentioned as the corporate guarantor. Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and S.G. Investments Pvt. Ltd. are also guarantors.

IRCTC Joins Hands With BoB; Launches BoB Rupay Credit Card

Bank of Baroda Financial Solutions (BOBFS) came together with IRCTC and launched BoB Rupay credit scheme. The new IRCTC BoB Rupay cashless scheme will help travelers to book tickets with maximum savings. Besides cheap tickets, the BoB cardholders will have additional benefits in shopping categories including fuel. IRCTC Chairman Rajni Hasija said, the users can also avail reward points (40) which is INR 100, to be used for tickets.

Bank Of Baroda Extends Services To Assam Rifles Personnel, Signs MoU

Bank of Baroda has reportedly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Assam Rifles, the country's oldest paramilitary force. Bank of Baroda will now provide its 'Central Forces Salary Package' to the personnel of Assam Rifles. The services will be extended to both retired and serving personnel. "We at Bank of Baroda are honoured to be able to serve the Assam Rifles", said Chief Defence Banking Advisor, Bank of Baroda.

Bengaluru Woman Wins Over Bank; Receives Refund With Compensation

Bengaluru's Sundakadatte won her two-year-long battle against the Vijaynagar Branch of Bank of Baroda (BoB), for a faulty ATM withdrawal and delay in compensation from the bank. On August 21, 2019, she tried to withdraw Rs 15,000 from BoB's ATM but the faulty ATM caused failure in money withdrawal, and deduction of money. Post waiting to get any satisfactory response from the bank, she approached Consumer Forum in January 2020.
