In what could be called as a sheer determination, a 64-year-old from Odisha has cleared NEET to pursue dreams. Retired in 2016, bank employee Jaya Kishore Pradhan had prepared for NEET since then. He got placed in Odisha's Vimsar after clearing NEET in 2020. Pradhan said, "I wish to provide free medical treatment to the poor.” Earlier in 2018, the Supreme court permitted aspirants above age 25 to appear for NEET.
