Banks will be shut for a number of three days in May for the remaining of the month. During bank holidays, users may still access their accounts online. Owing to the multiple festivals in October, Banks in different states of india will only open for 21 days. However, the holidays vary based on festivals in different states. As per the RBI's guidelines, Bank won't open on Sunday, second Saturday and fourth Saturday. Besides, bank will be closed on October 1, 2, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, and 26.

Owing to state-specific and usual holidays next week, banks will be only open on July 22-23 all over India. Reportedly, banks won't open on July 19 due to Guru Rimpoche's Thungkar Tshechu in Sikkim. On July 20, banks will be closed in Jammu and Kochi on the occasion of Bakrid. On July 21, during Eid Adha banks won't open in India, except Aizwal, Bhubaneshwar, Gangtok, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
