'Bat-Sense' To Catch Burglars Without Usage of CCTV Cameras

Researchers from Glasgow University have developed a 'bat-sense" algorithm, eyeing to help catch burglars while also assisting in monitoring patients without the help of CCTV cameras. The algorithm calculates the time taken by bounced signal waves while analysing the object's shape and size, thereby converting the data into 3D images. Interestingly, the concept is similar to that of bats who use echolocation to hunt prey.
