Germany Seizes Apartments Owned By Russian Lawmaker & Wife Under EU Sanctions
Abiding by the sanctions imposed by European Union against the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Germany has seized three apartments owned by Russian lawmaker and his wife. The couple jointly owned two apartments in the Bavarian city and the wife solely owned one in Munich. Besides the apartments, their bank accounts have also been seized. The residents are allowed to stay in the buildings, but should pay the rent at court.
