Sourav Ganguly's Exit As BCCI President Has Nothing To Do With BJP
Amid the exit of Sourav Ganguly as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President started blame game between the BJP and the TMC. While the ruling TMC has linked Ganguly’s exit from the BCCI amid “refusal” to join the BJP, the saffron party leader Locket Chatterjee hit back saying, there is no truth in such allegations and confirmed Ganguly's exit has nothing to do with BJP.

Roger Binny Is Likely To Take Over As BCCI President
Roger Binny, 1983 World Cup Hero is likely to take over as the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) President. On October 11, the BCCI held a meeting in Mumbai, which came ahead of the AGC meeting scheduled to discuss major steps to be taken in the BCCI. Moreover, Sourav Ganguly is likely to leave the BCCI president position, Jay Shah will continue as the BCCI Secretary.

BCCI President Dismiss Political Discussion During Dinner With Amit Shah
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly clarified the recent dinner host of Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, dismissing rumors of political agenda. Sourav Ganguly Tests Positive For COVID-19 Delta Plus Variant
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly tested positive for the 'Delta plus variant', on January 1. "Ganguly's samples tested positive for Delta plus variant. We are treating him for that,'' said an official. Recently, Ganguly was tested positive after conducting an RT-PCR test, but tested negative for the deadly new COVID-19 variant, Omicron. He is in-home quarantine under the doctor's supervision after being discharged from the hospital.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly Recovers From COVID-19: Kolkata
Sourav Ganguly, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI), recovered from COVID-19 and was released from Kolkata's Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital, on December 31. Ganguly was tested positive for the virus on December 27. Meanwhile, he received monoclonal anti-body cocktail therapy and also maintained oxygen saturation of 99%, reported ANI citing the sources from the hospital.
