BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Becomes Asian Cricket Council President
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on January 30 selected the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah as its new President. As the new head of ACC, Jay succeeds Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papon. BCCI Treasurer Arun Dhumal confirmed the Shah's delegation through a congratulatory tweet. The ACC is the continent regional administrative unit that currently houses 24 member associations.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Condemns Racist Remarks On Indian Cricketers
Taking a strong stance on the racist comments towards Indian players, the BCCI secretary Jay shah on January 10 said that discrimination would not be tolerated. Shah said that BCCI has communicated with Cricket Australia and have been ensured strict action against the spatters. Reportedly, on the fourth day of the third test match, several fans were expelled by the umpires for making comments on Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
