Dream 11 To Sponsor Jersey Of Indian Cricket Squad: BCCI
Dream 11 replaced Byju's and become the sponsor for the jersey of the Indian Cricket Team. Notably, BYJU's had quit after the end of the last financial cycle and BCCI had invited closed bids for its new sponsor and Dream11, which is going to be the prominent finance investor for Jersey. "Yes, Dream11 will be the new jersey sponsor of the Indian team," said the BCCI in an official statement.

ICC, BCCI Reject Proposal Of PCB Asking Venue Swap: ODI World Cup
Pakistan’s request to swap the venues of their ODI World Cup 2023 matches against Australia and Afghanistan has reportedly been turned down by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI.) Besides BCCI, the ICC also rejected the idea of venue swap. Notably, PCB were hopeful of having their venues for two of their matches during the 2023 ODI World Cup in India swapped with each other.

Asian Cricket Council Set to Approve 'Hybrid Model' for Asia Cup
The BCCI proposed a Hybrid model for the Asian Cup, in September. Under the plan, four non-Indian matches will be played in Pakistan, while the remaining matches will be hosted in Galle and Pallekele in Sri Lanka. The ACC is likely to make an official announcement soon. Once the hybrid model is officially sanctioned, it will open the way for the Pakistan team to travel to India for ODI world cup.

BCCI Imposes Fine On Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir
The Board Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) imposed a hefty fine on cricketers Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir, for violating code of conduct. Notably, Kohli had a fight with LGS player Naveen and Amit Mishra, during the RCB V/S LGS IPL match. The issue intensified after a bawl between Gambhir and Kohli. the BCCI fined 100% match-fees for Kohli and Gambhir, whereas Naveen was fined 50% fees.

Mohammed Siraj Reports Corrupt Approach To BCCI
India pacer Mohammed Siraj reported a "corrupt approach" to BCCI's Anti Corruption Unit (ACU) from an unknown person, who wanted "inside news" about his team before Australia arrived in the country for a full-fledged tour in February this year. BCCI Issues Advisory For Coronavirus Amid Ongoing IPL
Amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases in India, the BCCI issued a set of guidelines and advisories, to be followed. The decision came amid the ongoing Indian Premiere League (IPL) 16th edition, which started on March 31. One of the major pieces of advice in the guidelines is to give importance to precautions taken by players, to avoid the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

Former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly predicted the result of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy, in matches between India V/S Australia. On February 25, Ganguly said, "I see 4-0. BCCI Reduces Ban Of RR PLayer Ajit Chandila To 7 Years
The BCCI Ombudsman Vineet Saran has reduced former Rajasthan Royal player Ajit Chandila's life ban. On February 21, Saran announced a reduction of a ban to 7 years, for his involvement in the IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal. The three cricketers involved in that ‘spot-fixing’ scam – S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Chandila were given a life ban. However, the bans of Sreesanth and Chavan were overturned two years back.
