Kunal Kamra's Stand Up Comedy Show Gets Cancelled In Bengaluru

Shows of stand up comedian Kunal Kamra, scheduled in Bengaluru, got cancelled by the organisers. Kamra posted a tweet for the same, "Cancelling comedy Shows 101". Responding to his tweet, Bengaluru DCP refused the allegations. People had gathered outside the venue and demanded for a cancellation of his show, following which the show was cancelled, said the DCP.

Bengaluru: One More Drug Peddler Arrested In Sandalwood Case

In the ongoing Sandalwood drug probe, one more alleged drug peddler has been arrested. The Central Crime Branch had arrested the accused, Ashwin Bhogi, from Chikkamagaluru district. Reportedly, Ashwin, who was on the run since the probe began, was brought to Bengaluru on October 13, where he was sent to the police custody for seven days. Earlier, a previously arrested accused, Ravi Shankar, had informed the police about Ashwin.

Bengaluru: Man Steals Rs 4.3 Lakh From Store While Working As Cashier

The Bengaluru Police have arrested an accused who used to steal money from the store he was working in. Reportedly, the accused, Tejas S, had stolen around Rs 4.3 lakh while working as a cashier in the store. The crime surfaced when the store underwent audit exercise and found discrepancies in sales' records. However, it was revealed later that Tejas had lost all the money stolen in the share market already.

Bengaluru Police Raid Two Illegal Spas And Parlours, Arrest Four Accused

Bengaluru Police has arrested four people after raiding illegal spas and massage parlours in the city. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil informed that the accused were arrested from the Koramangala and Puttenahalli areas. Earlier, two raids were conducted in the city for cricket betting and hawala transactions, where police seized a sum of Rs 7.5 lakh.
