Bengaluru: Man Steals Rs 4.3 Lakh From Store While Working As Cashier

The Bengaluru Police have arrested an accused who used to steal money from the store he was working in. Reportedly, the accused, Tejas S, had stolen around Rs 4.3 lakh while working as a cashier in the store. The crime surfaced when the store underwent audit exercise and found discrepancies in sales' records. However, it was revealed later that Tejas had lost all the money stolen in the share market already.

Bengaluru: Man Annoyed With Neighbour's Advice Burns Auto In Revenge

A Bengaluru man, annoyed with the neighbour's advice to restrain his children from damaging the walls of the building, burned the autorickshaw of the latter one. Reportedly, after receiving the complaint from the autorickshaw owner Mohan HP, police dug the CCTV footage and arrested the neighbour accused who also owns a taxi. Later, the accused, Prabhakar, confessed his crime and a case has been registered against him.

Bengaluru: 3 Transgenders Arrested for Thrashing Individual with Slippers

The Bengaluru police have arrested three transgenders for hitting an individual with slippers when he refused to pay them money. Police inspector from Konanakunte police station stated that there was a verbal argument as the individual refused to pay them. Reportedly, the police took the three accused under custody and further investigation is underway.

Riots Erupt in Bengaluru Over Post On Prophet Mohammed; Three Persons Die

A social media post on Prophet Mohammed incited an angry mob to attack at Congress MLA Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy's residence, DJ Halli and KG Halli police stations. Reportedly, the mob damaged public property, injuring 60 police personnel and causing three deaths. The post was uploaded by the MLA's relative. The Police Commissioner stated that the Section 144 has been imposed in the city to bring the situation under control.
