The Bengaluru Police have arrested an accused who used to steal money from the store he was working in. Reportedly, the accused, Tejas S, had stolen around Rs 4.3 lakh while working as a cashier in the store. The crime surfaced when the store underwent audit exercise and found discrepancies in sales' records. However, it was revealed later that Tejas had lost all the money stolen in the share market already.

Ten minors, including an 8-year-old boy, who were booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act for their alleged involvement in stone-pelting during the Bengaluru riots, were granted bail. Geetha, a 45-year-old beautician, was murdered on August 16 over a land dispute worth Rs 2 crore, in Bangalore's Mangammanapalya.
