B'luru: Committee To Be Formed To Remove Transformers From Footpaths

Bangalore Electric Supply Company (Bescom) and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike have planned to set up a coordination committee to get rid of transformers installed on footpaths. Filing an affidavit in the Karnataka High Court regarding the same, they assured to replace around 800 such transformers that pose threat to pedestrians.  However, the court has stated to set up a separate committee if the authorities concerned fail to do so.
