Bhagat Koshyari Shares His Opinion Over Shiv Sena V/S Shiv Sena Split
Former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari gave an exclusive interview and broke his silence on the Shiv Sena V/S Shiv Sena split. In an interview, Koshyari was asked his opinion and whether he is biased towards the Eknath Shinde-led BJP government in Maharashtra. Answering the question, Koshyari said, "Uddhav Thackeray had the majority, he should have come to me to stake claim to form the government, but instead Shinde did.

Fadnavis Stakes Claim To Form Govt In Maharashtra, Meets Governor Koshyari
Following CM Uddhav Thackeray's resignation on June 29, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis met the Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari, seeking to form a government. Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde also met with Governor Koshyari. BJP currently has 106 MLAs, and with Shinde's 39 rebel MLAs, a new government is likely to be formed in Maharashtra. Thackeray's resignation brought an end to the 31-month-old Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari Tests COVID Positive
Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Governor of Maharashtra, has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus. Koshyari has been admitted to HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. Koshyari, an RSS veteran, is the 22nd and current Governor of Maharashtra. He has also served as the National Vice President of BJP and the party's first state president of Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, India reported over 12,000 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Conflict Erupts Between Maharashtra CM And Governor Over Opening Of Religious Places
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on October 12, reportedly, wrote a letter to the Chief Minister (CM) Uddhav Thackray asking him to reopen places of worship with COVID-19 precautions. In the letter, he asked CM if he has turned 'secular' despite his Hindutva ideology. The CM in his response said that he does not need a 'certificate' of Hindutva from the Governor and a decision on his suggestion will be taken soon.
