The closing ceremony of Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi is expected to be disrupted amid snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir. On January 30, the Congress is scheduled to conduct a grand rally at Sher-I-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, marking the end of the 135-day-long Kanyakumari to Kashmir yatra. However, weather update reveals that snowfall is expected in the region, which could trouble the end-ceremony of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

The interim president of Congress party Sonia Gandhi, during her visit to Karnataka on October 5, visited the Bheemanakolli temple in Begur village to offer her Dussehra prayers. She was reportedly accompanied by village panchayat members and local Congress members. Sonia Gandhi’s visit to Karnataka has come in wake of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the 3,500 km march from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, which is led by Rahul Gandhi.

During the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress, a heart warming video of Rahul Gandhi went viral on social media platforms.  In the shared video, Rahul Gandhi bowed and helped a girl to wear his sandals. Notably, the yatra which resumed from Haripad, Kerala on September 18, is being attended by party workers and leaders including VD Satheesan, Kodikunnil Suresh, K Muraleedharan, KC Venugopal and Ramesh Chennithala. 

With the beginning of "Bharat Jodo Yatra," the BJP took dig at the former Congress President Rahul Gandhi for his Burberry T-shirt, worth Rs 41,000. On September 9, BJP tweeted pictures of the T-shirt with price, captioned it "Bharat Dekho" However, Congress also immediately hit back, highlighting the clothes of PM Modi. "Then Modi ji's suit of 10 lakhs and glasses of 1.5 lakhs will also discussed", said Congress.
