In Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, a 50-year-old owner of a Madrasa has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old girl student, informed police on October 10. The two sons of the accused have also been booked after they allegedly assaulted the girl’s kin who went to complain about the matter. According to the complaint, the accused called the victim to a separate room and touched her inappropriately.

After the horrible rape incident of a three and a half year old child in a school bus in Madhya Pradesh broke the internet, Home Minister Narottam Mishra commented on the incident. Mishra stated that two persons including the bus driver and a woman attendant have been arrested. He also blamed the school for allegedly trying to cover up the incident. Further details are awaited.

In Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal, two labourers died after the boundary wall of a nullah (drain) collapsed. As per the PTI, the police confirmed the incident on June 21, and said, "The bodies were taken out after an 11-hour effort by teams of NDRF, SDRF as well as civic and police personnel. A case has been registered and further probe is underway". 

President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to visit Madhya Pradesh to lay the foundation stone of some health institutions and address a conference. The two-day visit is scheduled from May 27 to 29.  According to officials, President Kovind will arrive in Bhopal and later tour Ujjain for the All-India Ayurveda Conference at the Kalidas Academy. MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan personally reviewed the arrangements for President's visit.

In MP's Alirajpur district, a shocking incident took place where a group of tribal men sexually harassed a young tribal girl in front of the public in the Bhilala tribe. The Alirajpur district police have arrested two accused and search for other three absconding is underway.  Notably, the police registered a case under several IPC sections. The incident took place at the Bhagoria festival by five men.
