Rahul Gandhi To Inaugurate 'Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumiheen Krishi Mazduur Yojana'
Chattisgarh CM Bhupesh Singh Bhagel stated that Rah Gandhi will visit the state on February 3 and release the first instalment of "Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumiheen Krishi Mazduur Yojana". According to the scheme, rural landless families are entitled for an annual financial aid of Rs 6,000. The registration for the scheme started in September, 2020. Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi will also lay the foundation stone of "Gandhi Sevagram".

Bhupesh Baghel, TS Singh Deo To Meet Rahul Gandhi For Change Of Leadership
A meeting will be held by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the state's Health Minister TS Singh Deo with Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi, on August 24. They are expected to discuss about the change of the state's leadership. In June, the Baghel government completed two and a half years of its service. The idea of rotating chief ministership was raised by the supporters of TS Singh Deo.

Patwari Suspended After Farmer Commits Suicide Due To Clerical Error
After a 45-year-old farmer Dhaniram Markham committed suicide due to a clerical error in paddy procurement, the patwari of Chattisgarh's Bastar division has been suspended. Due to the error, the procurement limit of Dhaniram was shown as 11 quintals, instead of 100 quintals. Reportedly, Dhaniram had committed suicide since he could not afford to pay his previous loans with the profit from selling 11 quintals of paddy.

Chhattisgarh Minister Dances At Orchestra Event Defying COVID Protocols
Chhattisgarh Congress is faced with an awkward situation after a video went viral, which featured the state minister Gulab Kamro dancing with two women dancer while flouting the COVID-19 guidelines. In the viral video, neither the minister nor the dancers were wearing masks while dancing. The video came amid the state CM Bhupesh Singh Baghel's request to PM Narendra Modi to provide priority to Chhattisgarh during vaccination process.
