Advertising industry's self-regulatory body ASCI has named several celebrities including cricketer MS Dhoni and actor-comedian Bhuvan Bam for violating advertising rules. Taaza Khabar, a Hotstar Specials production, is Bhuvan Bam's debut collaboration with the platform. The story follows a man who discovers magical abilities and the repercussions it has on his everyday life. “I feel grateful that I got to explore a completely new side to wishful thinking with my character in Taaza Khabar,” said Bhuvan. The play is written by Hussain and Abbas Dalal and directed by Himank Gaur.

Bhuvan Bam is one of the most successful and popular YouTube stars in recent times. He made his acting debut with Dhindora, a web series, featuring him playing nine avatars of himself. Early this year, Bam lost both his parents due to Covid-19. “Getting back to work was probably the only way to keep myself occupied," he said. "The struggle, every day, is different," he added.

Famous Youtuber Bhuvan Bam 'BB Ki Vines' has unfortunately lost both his parents to the coronavirus. Bam took to Instagram and shared the tragic news on June 12. "Without Aai (Mother) and Baba (father), nothing will be the same. Everything fell apart in a month. My home, dreams, everything," he mentioned. However, Bam's father Arvinda Bam died on May 11and mother Radma BAM on June 10, respectively.
