Families Found With Bible In North Korea Jailed Or Annnounced Death Penalty
Under the bizarre law of North Korea, Christian families found with a bible, are sentenced to death or penalties with imprisonment, including children. The State Department's International Religious Freedom Report for 2022 estimates that as many as 70,000 Christians are imprisoned in North Korea, along with people from other faiths. Kareena's Book 'Pregnancy Bible' Hurts Sentiments; Complaint Lodged
A Christian group has lodged a police complaint on July 14 against Kareena Kapoor Khan and two others accusing them of hurting the religious sentiments of the community in Beed, Maharashtra. The complaint was filed by Ashish Shinde, President of Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh. In his complaint, Shinde said that the use of the holy word "Bible" in her book's title "Pregnancy Bible" has hurt the sentiments.
