Neil Shah, a class 12th student pursuing science from Vadodara, created a solar bicycle by recycling scrap cycles. CM Manohar Lal Khattar Rides Bicycle On World Car Free Day
On the occasion of World Car Free day, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar rode a bicycle with his colleagues and MLAs from his residence to the secretariat in Chandigarh on September 22. Khattar also said his government would soon launch an electric vehicle policy and will give subsidies on EVs to protect the environment from being polluted. Meanwhile, the CM also inaugurated an exhibition of electric vehicles here.

Bajacle: Scooter Cum Cycle To Protest Against Fuel Price Hike
To protest against the hike in fuel price in India, Mohammed Badhusha, a student of class 12 from Kerala’s Marampally has built a scooter cum bicycle named “Bajacle.” It is made by combining the front portion of a Bajaj scooter and the tail of a bicycle. It costs around Rs 4,000 to build this vehicle. “A few have requested ‘Bajacles’ for them,” said 17-year-old Badhusha.

TN Elections: Actor Vijay Travels To Polling Booth On Bicycle
Actor Vijay came out to cast his vote on a bicycle which was wrongly interpreted as protesting the hike on fuel prices. However, his team later clarified that Vijay was riding a bicycle to avoid traffic congestion as the polling booth was near his residence in Chennai. Later actress and BJP contestant Khusbhu Sundar hits back at the DMK party members for starting the rumours vis-a-vis the incident.

Kochi Metro Allows Passengers To Carry Bicycles In Metro For No Cost
Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) has permitted the passengers to carry their bicycles in the metro without any extra charges. The Permitted platforms are Town Hall, Maharaja College, palarivattom, Changampuzha Park, Elamkulam metro stations and Ernakulam (South).
