Deepika & Ranveer To Bid To Own A New IPL 2022 Team

Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will reportedly bid to acquire the right of a new franchise in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). Reportedly, the BCCI has planned to increase the teams to 10 from eight. However, the Adani Group and the RP-Sanjeev Goneka Groups are also in the race. The couple is expected to join Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Preity Zinta in the IPL.

L&T Wins Bid To Build 47% Of Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Route

Mumbai-based Larsen and Toubro Limited (L&T) on October 19 won the bid for constructing the largest section of Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. L&T quoted Rs 24,985 crore for the project, which was lesser than other bidders - Tata Projects and Afcons Infrastructure Limited. Bharat Petroleum Bidding Deadline Pushed to November 16

The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) stated that the deadline for bidding the state-owned stakes of Bharat Petroleum has been extended till November 16. The extension came after interested bidders sought more time. Reportedly, this is the fourth time the deadline has been changed since May. Earlier, in November 2019, the Government had decided to sell its 52.98% stake in Bharat Petroleum to privatise the firm.
