Big Boss concluded its OTT first season on September 18, with Actress Divya Agrawal emerging as the winner. As per reports, Agrawal won a trophy and a cash prize of 25 lakhs with 51.10% votes, beating runner-up Nishant Bhat. Besides, a new promo of Big Boss season 15 was also revealed on Big Boss OTT's finale. Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, and Karan Johar were also present during the finale. 

Actor Vindu Dara Singh has raised concerns on Twitter regarding the depleting earnings and rising expenses during COVID pandemic. Vindu wrote “Depleted earnings and all taxes & interest of all bank loans despite lockdowns has made the entire Indian anxiety levels escalate.” Replying to a comment, Vindu said Lockdowns must come with ‘some insurance of ease’. The actor was last seen on Bigg Boss 14 alongside Rakhi Sawant.

Former Big Boss contestant and self-proclaimed godman Swami Om passed away on February 3 at his Ghaziabad residence. Reportedly, three months ago, Swami Om had contracted for COVID-19. Though testing negative, his condition was nevertheless abysmal. Reportedly, his physical weakness deteriorated due to paralysis, ultimately culminating to his death. Swami Om is known for his controversial stint in the tenth season of the reality show.

It is reported that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma actor Disha Vakani who plays 'Dayaben' in the show was approached by the team of Bigg Boss. It is said that Vakani has been offered a handsome amount to take part in Season 14 of the Salman Khan's show. However, the news of the Vakani signing the deal is yet to be confirmed.
