Bihar: North East Superfast Express Derailed; 4 Dead And 80 Injured
In Bihar's Buxaur district, a North East Superfast Express derailed, killing 4 people, and left over 80 injured. The incident happened on October 11, at 9:45 pm, confirmed Railways. Getting into details, six bogies of the train derailed, leaving a chaos at Raghunathpur station. Assam CM Himanta Biswas expressed grief and said, they are monitoring the situation closely. Furthermore, rescue team is also at spot for restoration works.

Nitish Kumar Expands Bihar Cabinet, 30 Ministers Take Oath
The Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) and its alliance Rashtriya Janata Dal, expanded its cabinet and inducted 30 ministers. On August 16, the newly elected ministers, including 15 legislators of the RJD took the oath of office as berth ministers. JD(U) MLAs Leshi Singh, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Bijendra Yadav, Madan Sahni, Sheela Kumari Mandal, and others took oath in the first batch at Rajendra Mandal, at Raj Bhavan, Patna.

A close aide of politician Lalu Prasad Yadav has been arrested in a scam case. On July 27, the CBI arrested Bhola Yadav in connection with the land for job scam during Lalu Prasad Yadav's tenure as Railway Minister (2004-2009.) Furthermore, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation, about 1,05,292 Sq. feet land, immovable properties were acquired by Yadav through five sales deeds and two gift deeds.

Bihar Youth Stabbed By Unknown, Police Denies Nupur Sharma Angle
In Bihar, a young man Ankit Jha (23) was stabbed by people of another community, as he was watching a video of suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma. The incident gained attention after recent attacks due to Nupur Sharma's remark, but police denied Nupur Sharma's angle and communal attack. Furthermore, police said, Jha was using WhatsApp when bystanders attacked him and stabbed him several times, following which he sustained injuries.
