CRPF Constable Slits Wrist, Dies By Suicide In Bijapur: Chhattisgarh
In a tragic incident, CRPF Constable Mohan, who hailed from Haryana, slit his wrist and died by suicide, for reasons unknown, on May 24. The incident occurred in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, at the camp of CRPF's 170th battallion located at Jaitaloor road. Soon after the incident, officials rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy. Furthermore, Mohan's body has been sent to his native village in Haryana.

Naxal Affected Bastar Now Changing, Says Chhattisgarh CM Baghel; Development Projects Underway
Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said that Bastar, a district affected by naxals, is now changing for the better, owing to various development projects in the region. Speaking of the development projects, he said that construction of new bridges, roads and culverts and underway. Also, schools that were shut for 15 years have now reopened. He further stated that people are benefiting from various state government schemes.

Chhattisgarh Naxal Encounter: Search Underway As 21 Jawans Go Missing
Security forces in Chhattisgarh have launched a search operation to find 21 jawans who went missing after the April 3 deadly encounter. Meanwhile, seven out of the 24 injured jawans have been shifted to Raipur hospital. CRPF Director-General Kuldiep Singh has also reached Chhattisgarh to analyse the situation. Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah talked to CM Bhupesh Baghel. Notably, the security forces had killed 15 Maoists in the encounter.
