Nine-Year Old Girl Raped In Bijnor, Case Registered

In Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district, a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped, confirmed the police on May 2.  As per PTI,  the girl was allegedly raped by her 18-year-old uncle who works as a laborer at a brick kiln. Notably, the incident happened at Shivalakala Kalan, when the girl was alone at her home. Meanwhile, a case has been registered under IPC and POCSO, and an investigation is underway.

PM Modi To Address Bijnor Public Rally Virtually Amid Bad Weather

PM Narendra Modi's rally in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district, scheduled on February 7, has been cancelled. Notably, PM Modi was suppose to visit Bardaman College, where all the arrangements were made. However, the bad weather didn't let PM Modi reach the venue, therefore he is going to address the public of Bijnor, virtually. Notably, Bijnor's two constituency are a strong hold of the Samajwadi Party.

Overjoyed UP Thief Suffers Heart Attack After Looting Rs 7 Lakh

In a bizarre incident, a thief suffered a heart attack after he was overjoyed with a successful heist of Rs 7 lakh from a public service centre in Bijnor, UP. The thief, Ejaz, and his accomplice Naushad had committed the robbery in mid-February. However, Ejaz soon suffered the heart attack and had to spend a large amount of the looted money on treatment. Arresting them from Alipur, the police have recovered Rs 3.7 lakh.

Bijnor Cane Farmers Fear Leopards As Man-Animal Conflicts Rise

Leopards that hide in the sugarcane fields of Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor have become a concern for the farmers. Reportedly, the leopards that prevented crop-destroying animals are now causing man-animal conflicts that rose to nine deaths in the last two years.  Moreover, the farmers have asked officials to relocate the leopards as the sightings have increased up to 20%. UP Govt To Build 1,038 Ganga Aarti Sites In Bijnor To Ballia

Uttar Pradesh government is planning to construct 1,038 new Ganga aarti platforms in Bijnor and Ballia districts to attract tourism to the religious hub.
