Indian Rider CS Santosh Suffers Crash In Saudi's Dakar Rally

In an unfortunate accident, the Hero MotoSports rally racer CS Santosh suffered a bike crash at the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia. The 37-year-old racer has received a head injury and was immediately airlifted to a hospital in Riyadh. Attending the Dakar Rally for the seventh time Santosh fell on the gravel track. Reportedly, Hero’s rider Paulo Goncalves died in the same stage of the rally last year.

BMW Motorrad on October 23 revealed the all-new R 18 Classic which offers better comfort and safety. Earlier the automaker had launched R 18 bike. The new model has some additional features like the large windscreen, passenger seat, saddlebags, auxiliary LED headlamps and a 16-inch front wheel. KTM Unviels New 890 Adventure Series

KTM has unveiled its KTM 890 Adventure and the limited 890 Adventure Rally R bikes. Reportedly, both the motorcycles are equipped with 889 cc parallel-twin engine and 20% more rotating mass, which provides increased cornering stability for long distance riding. The bikes are also equipped with quick-shifter on the 6-speed gearbox.  According to reports, company plans to produce only 700 units of the KTM 890 Adventure Rally R.
