India Politely Refuses Chinese Request Of Bilateral Meeting At BRICS, South Africa
As China claimed that PM Narendra Modi's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the BRICS meeting in South Africa took place on India's request, top government sources refuted it and said there was a "pending request from the Chinese side". The Government sources said, "There was a pending request from the Chinese side for a bilateral meeting." However, PM Modi had an informal conversation with his Chinese counterpart.

EAM S Jaishankar Meets Chinese Minister Wang Yi, Discusses Outstanding Issues In Bali
Union External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Bali, on July 7. The meeting was held with a focus on "specific outstanding issues,' happened on the sidelines of a meeting of the foreign ministers of G20 countries. "Began my day in Bali by meeting FM Wang Yi of China. Discussion lasted one hour. Focused on specific outstanding issues in our bilateral-relationship,' Jaishankar tweeted.

President Kovind Meets Bangladesh PM, Discusses Bilateral Ties
Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina met with Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, on December 15. The duo discussed bilateral relation and growth of the two countries.
