PM Narendra Modi paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his birth anniversary. On October 31, PM Modi remembered Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's visionary statesmanship and the extraordinary dedication with "which he shaped the destiny of our nation". Taking to his X handle, Modi said, "On the Jayanti of Sardar Patel, we remember his indomitable spirit, visionary statesmanship and the extraordinary dedication."

The 104th birthday of Indian physicist and meteorologist Anna Mani, one of the nation's first female scientists, is being commemorated via a Google Doodle on August 23. Anna Mani's life's work made it possible for India to provide precise weather forecasts. The doodle stated, "She excelled so much in this male-dominated field that by 1953, she became head of the division." She perished in Kerala on August 16, 2001. 

President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the150th birth anniversary celebration of Srimad Bhakti Sidhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad, on February 20. On January 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to 'Punjab Kesari' Lala Lajpat Rai on his birth anniversary. PM Modi took to Twitter and remembered his contribution and said, "The story of his courage, struggle and dedication in the freedom movement will always be remembered by the countrymen" Lala Lajpat Rai was born on January 28, 1865, and played a pivotal role in India’s Independence movement.
