Internet has been suspended for five days, and section 144 of CrPC has been imposed in Manipur over law and order concerns. The move has come after an incident in Bishnupur district, where an eco van was set ablaze in the Phougakchao lkhang area by three-four youths. The internet has been suspended to counter "rumor-mongers", and stop the spread of hatred and photos through social media.
