Birbhum Violent Case: BJP Committee Submits Report To JP Nadda

To investigate the Birbhum Violence Case, the BJP formed a five-member committee, which submitted its report to the BJP National President JP Nadda. On March 30, the fact-finding committee, which recently visited Birbhum, West Bengal, and probed the killings of eight people, after the political outrage amid TMC leader's murder. Meanwhile, the Calcutta HC directed the WB SIT to hand over the case to the CBI, which named 21 accused.

BJP Forms 4-Member Committee To Target Brahmin Voters Ahead Of UP Assembly Polls

Ahead of UP Assembly polls 2022, the BJP formed a four-member committee to attract Brahmin voters. Comprised of leaders Mahesh Sharma, Shiv Pratap Shukla, Ram Bhai Mokariya and Abhijat Mishra, the committee will chalk out programmes to woo Brahmin voters, who make 10% of the total UP electoral. Reportedly, the committee is said to be formed since Brahmins are believed to be unhappy due to the local level issues.
