After the Rajasthan Police detained BJP leader Kirodi Lal Meena, party workers held another protest in Jaipur, against the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress Government. Notably, the protest of widows' of jawans, who died in the Pulwama attack, came after Ashok Gehlot accused Mr Meena of using widows for political gains. Mr Meena, in turn, has accused the police of "trying to kill him". The protest intensified in Jaipur.

In a public rally, Sri Ram Sena President Pramod Muthalik lashed out at the BJP leaders in Karnataka. On March 6, at a public meeting, Muthalik said, 'Beat BJP leaders with slippers if they seek vote in PM Modi’s name." In the poll-bound Karnataka, the Hindu Sena Chief asked the BJP leaders to seek votes, without using PM Modi's name. The video of Muthalik is going viral on social media platforms.

BJP MLAs continued their sit-in protest outside the Maharashtra Assembly, demanding resignation of NCP leader Nawab Malik. Notably, Nawab Malik is an accused in a money laundering case in connection with fugitive Dawood Ibrahim. He is currently being investigated by the ED and is under custody. Although the Maharashtra Govt temporarily assigned new ministers for Malik's post, the BJP leaders are demanding his resignation.
