Bail Plea Of Restaurant Owner Edwin Rejected By Goa Court: Sonali Phogat Death Case

A Goa court rejected the bail plea of restaurant owner Edwin Nunes, accused arrested in BJP leader Sonali Phogat's death case. On August 28, the Goa court dismissed the petition and remanded Nunes and two others, drug peddlers Rama Mandrekar and Dattaprasad Gaonkar in five-day judicial custody. Furthermore, the Goa Government also said, they would approve a CBI investigation if needed. Notably, Sonali Phogat died in Goa on August 23.

Sonali Phogat's Brother Rules Out Allegations Against MLA Gopal Kanda

Sonali Phogat's brother Rinku dismissed murder allegations on Haryana MLA Gopal Kanda's involvement in the BJP leader's MLA. On August 25, Rinku Dhaka said, "No there is nothing like that". Furthermore, Dhaka said, Phogat, who recently died in Goa, was raped by her PA after being drugged in meals. Dhaka Justified claims stating, "Film shooting was supposed to happen on August 24, but rooms were booked only for August 20-21".

Centre Withdraws Mukul Roy’s Z-category VIP security: West Bengal

BJP MLA Mukul Roy, who recently rejoined Trinamool Congress (TMC) with his son Shubhrangshu, has been debarred with the Z-category VIP security, on June 17.
