In Dausa Jaipur, police arrested a woman for allegedly blackmailing and extorting money from a man, on January 30. The woman allegedly threatened the man to incriminate him in false rape case. The accused, identified as Suman Mishra, demanded Rs 10 lakh from the man, and had taken Rs 1.5 lakh rupees already. Meanwhile, a case against the accused woman was registered and an investigation is continuing under judicial custody. 

Two men and a woman have been arrested by the crime branch of Delhi police, following a complaint of blackmailing filed by a South Delhi businessman. The woman through her spy camera recorded obscene videos of the businessman and later blackmailed him to pay Rs 1 crore. Reportedly, Raj Kishor Singh was the mastermind of the racket along with Aryan Dixit and Payal.

Karnataka Police arrested three medical staff including a government doctor for allegedly selling a newborn baby. Reportedly, the doctor-nurse trio blackmailed an unmarried woman who delivered baby at the hospital. The police said that the buyer of the baby has been identified as Prema and revealed that the doctor sold the baby for Rs 55,000. "The baby will be handed over to the mother after the legal procedure," police added.
