Fire In North Hong Kong Triggers Largest Blackout In Recent History; No Power At 1,60,000 Homes
In Hong Kong's Yuen Long, high voltage wires on a bridge caught fire, resulting in the largest blackout in recent memory. The incident caused power outages at three districts and at least over 1,60,000 homes. Although electricity has been restored at most places, the work is still underway. The government announced to suspend classes at 14 schools. Meanwhile, shares of CLP Holding Ltd, main power provider, dropped by 2.7%.

Rajasthan CM Meets Chhattisgarh CM To Discuss Coal Crisis
Following the power crisis in Rajasthan due to low coal stocks, CM Ashok Gehlot met Chhatisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on March 25 to discuss the need for more coal supply to the state. Gehlot stated, "I hope Chhattisgarh decides soon, as Rajasthan is worried." Rajasthan's energy minister was also present at the meeting. Additionally, Gehlot inked a letter to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi mentioning the coal crisis situation in Rajasthan.

Chinese 'RedEcho' Attack Behind Mumbai Blackout: Reports
